Loved the article, plenty of great advice. When it comes to planning a wedding, I always advice my brides to do their due dilligence.

A funny book, good for a few laughs and an entertaining read. However beware of claims that their statements are based on scientific fact. Most articles they reference (usually incorrectly) are secondary or third sources, and are not peer reviewed. In addition, most arguements repeat vague statements again referenced as a secondary source, and do not compare to the many contradictory scientific articles easily found in the literature. Do not rely on this as a factual book. It is a funny read, amusing, but not a diet or nutrition guide, and certainly not scientific. The biggest flaw is total bias in presenting pseudo-scientific claims to back their ideas, without informing readers of the risks associated with doing so. Any responsible self-help or information book provides both pro's and con's of their approach, and lets the reader decide. Again, the writers, while extremely whitty and entertaining, are not unbiased or the least bit scientific.
