How to Get Rid of a Headache Fast
Headaches are common — everyone will have a headache at some point in their life. Tension headaches are often caused by our posture and our working position — sitting in one position for a long period of time can cause your neck and shoulder muscles to tighten up, causing a headache. The best way to get rid of this type of headache is to have good posture. When you have to work for long periods of time with bad posture, stretch your muscles a little to relax them.
Tension headaches have as many potential cures as causes. Many people find that applying moist heat to the head (using a hot compress) is the best way to relieve some of the pain of a headache very quickly. Take a regular wash cloth or dish towel, soak it in hot water, and apply it to areas of the had and face where the pain and tension is worst.

If you get regular debilitating headaches, start keeping a food journal so you can identify what it was you were eating that could have triggered your head pain.
