You are so right whatever. Even though I am 12 at a part of my life I thought misspelling words was cool but it wasn’t what’s so hard about spelling right. I want a Facebook but I will just wait a few more months then ask to get one. Stop being whiners complaint about a Facebook deal with the fact your not getting one any time soon! Not to be mean either.

Facebook is nothing that great, its just addicting. I’m 15 and i still don’t have it and don’t want it. It’s a waste of time. Actually do stuff don’t just talk to people online. Only get it for a good reason and research the risks and consequences before you do. For example any picture you put up can never be deleted and if you disable your account it isn’t deleted. It will still be there 10 years later if you sign in. If your under 13 you don’t need it!!!!!!!Your just kids enjoy your childhood you only get the chance to be a kid once.:)

weellll,tbf i think that you should be able to have facebook, no matter what age you are,because it isnt fair on people,but i know people that do have faceboook anyway! people do take fun of people that dont have it,and mums and dads need to realise that! it isnt for our own gooood! i have faceboook,i when i didnt people took fun out of me but i didnt care because i knew that i would have faceboooook one day, so dont worry if you dont have facebook. believe me you will get it even if its behind you mum and dads back!

Facebook was not made for kids. MOst children have there friends already around them and seem the eight hours aday, 5 days a week! Facebook is really for adults who want to connect to fridns them dont see offen or even live very far away from them.

I am 10 eleven and I will be 11 in 2 weeks. I just got permission from my parents to have a facebook account. I am scared that I might get banned. All my friends have it and I know hardly any people who don’t have facebook at my school. Sometimes you feel kind of left out and facebook is the only way for me to get in touch with my friends. So I am not sure if I am really brave enough to lie about my age and say I am 2 years older than I actually am.

What the heck?
I know about 20 people that have Face Book and are under 13.
About 10 of them are in 3rd Grade >.>
I can’t have a stupid facebook and my friends do!!!

My opinion -
Kidswirl sucks – i had it for 2 days and quit.
I had to quit RuneScape because my babysitter found a site that says kids under 13 can’t play the d*** game! i’m like what the freek! So my parents made me quit
ClubPenguin sucks 2 – i had it for 3 yrs! (since i was 7).
My parents and babysitter are just so dang mean they don’t let me have ANYTHING! I can’t even have a stupid cellphone and all my friends do! >:/
It Ticks me off!
Help Me find a better site that’s for 10 yr olds going onto 11!

Hi, I have read all of these comments and I now know that thirteen is an appropriate age limit for Facebook.
BECAUSE if you read the comments most twelve tear olds have the correct spelling, like me! The eleven and unders do not use the correct spelling and are immature! But the thirteen year olds and over always use the correct spelling and are very mature!
I know that ALL your friends have Facebook but if you think hard I bet you can find someone that doesn’t have it.
Anyway you can wait a year or two for Facebook!
You are not going to die without it!!!!

Facebook is pretty cool but it’s not that great. I much prefer MSN but all my friends use Facebook now so I can’t chat to them because I’m only just twelve and my mum won’t let me untill I’m thirteen. I don’t mind much, I’ve still got my mobile and I do see them like everyday. I probably will get it when I turn thirteen – mainly so I can chat to my mates though. I think the age restriction of 13 is pretty reasonable, and no boring adults, it is old enough because most people who are 13 swear, use bad language and pretty much completely aware of what adults find us knowing as “unsuitable” If your 12, you can wait, if your younger – get MSN!!!!! Don’t get club penguin. It’s immature, babyish and the majority of the members are under 6

I personally think the age should be older. Some of the content is too much for young people to understand let alone should see in the first place. I do know a few under age kids on fb so I am careful what I say but not everyone thinks before saying what they want. I’d be horrified to find my 10 or 11 yo on facebook. Try secret builders guys. So much more fun and good practice for when you are old enough.

I am 13 and I dont agree with anyone that says 10 year old or ppl under 13 can have a facebook. There is alot of security issues and inappriate content. Saying tht facebook is not heavily moderated kids under 13 should not have a facebook. And wat if something happened on facebook to someone under 13 facebook will not be accountable because it is against fine print for a younger than 13 year to be on so it will be ur own fault. I rest my case
